Are you one of those
players who grinds their characters beyond level 32 in single player mode? Probably you already have
knowledge on where and how to grind them. So far I knew 2 ways:
1. Missile Battle. using
Uberhero Yarida, Charibasa, Bowmunk, and Oohroc was the fastest way to grind to
level 40 I found over the internet. A missile battle would last 3 minutes, and
have an average experience points of 300-400 grass grinding, plus if you're managing
your average experience over time, you might consider the loading screen periods.
The downside to this method is that it is specifically only meant for this line
up of characters. I know it’s kind of disappointing, but look on the bright
side, reaching 1 Uberhero to level 40 will also max your forging skill to level
40.
Note: You can replace
Charibasa if you have sufficient volcano damage to obliterate the grasses with
one charge attack without the passive charibasa support skill (charge then
attack).
2. Iron Wall. using any
Uberhero Class, any class for Ton (spear type), Bowmunk for Chin (shield
type), and Oohroc for Kan (archer class)
is an ideal way to level up any class from your Uberhero. You can also level up
any class from Ton. Most players would suggest more on this tactic, but mind I
telling you that this is a SUPER, and I really mean SUPER, GRIND method. An
average of 2000 experience points more or less per HOUR.
Note: I did not discover
the two methods above. I found them over the internet.
Here comes the good news.
I think I discovered something new about Grass Grinding over Iron walls, and I found a
way to gain an average of 200-300 experience points over 3 minutes. Pretty
juicy, isn’t it? And without further ado, I present.
3. Iron Wall Grass
Grinding, Improved. It’s a bit complicated, so bare with me and surely you
will have a faster way to grind to level 40, although this would only benefit
most of your Uberhero classes and Ton’s classes.
Here is the sample video. I simply apologize for the missing audio, PC problems.
First and foremost, important
necessities for the success of this method.
-Oohroc class for Kan,
with maxed out volcano in which Huge Boost to Volcano is acquired.
-A number of Flamesea
Staffs, with different upgrade levels. Details explained later.
-Bowmunk class for Chin.
-A class for Ton that can
do multiple hits with 1 attack cycle. Preferably, like Kibadda or Pyokorider.
-Uberhero, preferably
melee (I haven’t tried the effectiveness of range ones) and have uberhero skill
that attacks continuously and can be activated with only PON-PON-PATA-PON.
-Your uberhero and Ton
must have grass grower set skill, both must have Fish-in-a-Pond and
Big-Fish-in-a-Pond set skill (adds resistance to status effects), and one must
have a Rainy Dance set skill.
-Uberhero, Ton, and Chin
must have high-resistance to burn.
-Kan must have darkfire
skill learned.
An overview about the grasses.
-Grass Grower set skill will not
work when hitting the Iron Wall.
-Grass Grower set skill will work
when hitting a grass (magic attack elements will hit, physical damage will also
hit but no damage at all).
-The level of the grass
is the same as the one who produces it. Basically, the characters whose level
is below as of the grass will receive less experience, characters whose level
is higher as of the grass will receive more experience, and characters whose
level is equal to the grass will receive normal experience.
-Grasses has a limit on
how many you can produce at a time.
Let’s get started.
I will base the guide
with my line up in the video, which is Uberhero Tondenga, Pyokorider, Bowmunk
and Oohroc. After you understand the process, you can do some experiments and
theoretically it will still work.
Find a place with an iron
wall which closes fast as you trigger the switch. They can be found at
multiplayer dungeons, except depths of jealousy because those swinging blades
will kill your army.
Step-by-Step Process.
1. Move your army of
patapons forward.
-PON-PON-PATA-PON your way until you can move no further against the iron wall.
2. Do a CHARGED ATTACK!
PON-PON-CHAKA-CHAKA! PON-PON-PATA-PON!!
-Uberhero Tondenga will
trigger the switch and open the wall, but that doesn’t matter.
-Bowmunk will scatter
some grasses. Be sure that there is grass under the iron wall. If not, repeat
charge-attack.
-Pyokorider will attack.
It doesn’t matter for now.
-Oohroc will cast
Darkfire instead of volcano. The reason why flamesea staff is used rather than
firewall staff is because to prevent from casting a high level volcano in which
it will completely obliterate the grass under the iron wall. The key here is to
grow even a single grass under the iron wall (initially Bowmunk is the only one
who can grow grass at this point), and Darkfire deals very less damage than a
charged attacked volcano and keeps the grasses alive.
3. Retreat!
PON-PATA-PON-PATA!
-This is to allow the
iron wall to fully close. Do not do a charged attack because Tondenga will flip
the switch all over again. Party song is also not advisable; Tondenga usually
jumps with it thus flipping the switch again.
4. Attack!
PON-PON-PATA-PON!
-As Tondenga and
Pyokorider hits the Iron wall with the grass or grasses below it, they produce
more grasses. Iron wall is ineffective with grass grower set skill, but a single grass is
enough to produce more grass with grass grower.
-The iron wall will serve
as the target for Oohroc, obiviously. When you are now able to produce grasses,
it will be located at the center below the iron wall. Precised volcano on a
précised target, whoa!
-You will have to bare
with Oohroc’s Volcano 1 to kill the grasses. A maxed volcano 5 gives you
additional damage with the welcome bonus “Huge Boost to Volcano”. The damage
boost is also applicable to Volcano 1.
-Oohroc’s Job as the
grass killer is the difficult part, not that Oohroc can’t kill the grass
instantly, but on how he must adjust his damage over the production speed of
the grass. Please read the explanation at the last part of this page.
5. Loop...
-You will notice that you will be continuously attack the grasses, however sometimes you will be able to kill grasses faster than producing grass, thus further disabling you from producing anymore. No fret, you could go back to step 2 of the process and do the whole thing again if you ever came to that point.
Explanation.
-A single grass is enough
is reproduce more grasses. We wouldn’t want Oohroc to instantly kill all the
grasses at once, or else we will have to do step 2 of the process all over
again. It’s a give-and-take process, kill some grass then give tondenga and
pyokorider some chance to reproduce them.
-Oohroc’s ideal damage
theoretically with volcano 1 must be around 2000-2500. Make him too powerful
and it will become a hassle grass grinding. You will have to do step 2 of the
process again. Make him too weak, you will receive no experience at all. Why?
There is a limit on the number of grasses you produce at a time (I do not know
exactly the limit count). When grasses are overproduced, other grasses are
recycled automatically thus giving no experience at all. It is a FIFO (First
In, First Out) process when grasses are overproduced. If Oohroc’s attack is
weak, chances are that grasses are recycled before you get the chance on killing
them.
Well, that sums everything up. Happy Grinding :)
